    The energy expenditure associated with a physical activity, quantified as a ratio of the resting metabolic rate. Resting metabolic rate is defined as the consumption of 3.5 milliliters of oxygen per kilogram (kg) of body weight per minute, equivalent to 1 kilocalorie per kg per hour.

    The deterioration of bones caused by an insufficiency of specific minerals, particularly calcium, leading to diminished strength and resilience.  

  • Mesenteric adenitis

    An inflammatory condition affecting the lymph nodes associated with the small intestine, exhibiting symptoms resembling those of appendicitis.
