  • Hypotonic fluid

    Liquid that is more concentrated than normal body fluid; for example, concentrated fluids used to administer some medications.

    Loud, very low-pitched, booming sounds usually heard over superinflated lungs. An increased resonance produced when an area is percussed. An unusually hollow sound detected during chest percussion, which might suggest a collapsed lung.

    Analysis of urine to detect cortisol byproducts.
