  • Creeping ulcer

    An ulcer that gradually grows and expands, featuring a distinctive wavy or snake-like border. It is also known as a serpiginous ulcer.  

  • Chrome ulcer

    An ulcer caused by exposure to chrome salts, commonly occurring in individuals who handle these substances. It is also referred to as a tanner’s ulcer.  

  • Callous ulcer

    An ulcer that shows a minimal inclination towards healing, commonly found on the legs of middle-aged women, typically results from poor blood circulation and frequently from inadequate hygiene. It is also known as an indolent ulcer.  

  • Atonic ulcer

    An ulcer that does not show any tendency to heal.  

  • Atheromatous ulcer

    An arterial ulcer caused by the disintegration of an atheromatous plaque in the artery’s lining.  

  • Ula

    The soft tissue that covers the part of the jaw where teeth are anchored, also known as the gingiva.  

  • Tyrotoxin

    A toxin that closely mimics curare, resulting from bacterial contamination in cheese or other dairy products.  

  • Tyrotoxicon

    A highly toxic ptomaine that can be found in spoiled milk, cheese, and ice cream. It causes severe symptoms, including extreme exhaustion and can sometimes be fatal.  

  • Tyremesis

    The act of vomiting cheesy-like substances, which is commonly seen in breastfeeding infants.  

  • Tyrannism

    Pathological brutality, with sadism being one manifestation of it.
