    A condition caused by the infestation of the intestines with a type of roundworm, leading to symptoms such as anemia, digestive disturbances, and mental sluggishness. This is also known as hookworm disease or ancylostomiasis.  

  • Ewing’s tumor

    A genuine bone tumor typically found in the shaft of a long bone, causing spindle-shaped swelling. It is invasive but generally does not create metastases elsewhere in the body, though it has a tendency to recur.  

  • Chromaffin tumor

    A tumor originating in the sympathetic nervous system, typically found in the adrenal glands but sometimes in other locations. Composed of chromaffin cells that readily absorb chrome salts, this type of tumor may be associated with high blood pressure.

    The condition of being enlarged or bloated.
