  • Necrotising enterocolitis

    A disorder in which patches of dead tissue are found in the small or large intestine as a result of severe bacterial infection. It occurs in babies, especially premature ones.  

  • Necrospermia

    A condition in which dead sperm exist in the semen. The presence of either dead or motionless spermatozoa in the semen. A state where the semen comprises solely of non-viable sperm cells.

    Referring to dead tissue or bone.

    The scientific study of mortality statistics. The study of the phenomena of death, involving determination of the moment of death and the different changes that occur in the tissues of the body after death.
