  • Anaphylactic

    Relating to or caused by extreme sensitivity to a substance.  

  • Anamnestic

    Showing a secondary immunological response to an antigen some time after immunisation. To the antibody production that occurs rapidly the second time a given substance (antigen) is put into the body. To the medical history of a patient.

    A person who examines samples of substances or tissue, to find out what they are made of.  

  • Analyser

    A machine which analyses blood or tissue samples automatically.

    To examine something in detail.

    The posterior part of the perineum. The dorsal triangular region of the perineum from the point at the tip of the coccyx to a line between the two ischial tuberosities. The anal triangle contains the anus.

    A strong ring of muscle which closes the anus.

    Fistula which develops between the rectum and the outside of the body after an abscess near the anus. Formation of an abnormal channel between the anal canal and the skin surrounding the anus.
