  • Hypertrophic obesity

    A form of obesity in which fat cells are enlarged, hypercellular obesity. Obesity characterized by increase in adipocyte size. Excessive weight gain experienced during adulthood is distinguished by the enlargement of pre-existing adipose cells. This condition entails the expansion of already existing fat cells in the body.
