    Begun in the late 1970s and terminated during the early to the mid-1980s, a health management structure under federal law, controlled by consumers, for the planning of health priorities, activities, and funding on a regional basis.  

  • Health surveillance

    The ongoing and systematic collection, analysis, and interpretation of health data while monitoring a health event.  

  • Health study

    An investigation of exposed individuals designed to assist in identifying exposure or effects to public health. Health studies also define those health problems that require further inquiry through, for example, a health surveillance or epidemiological study.  

  • Health stimuli

    Stimuli that affect health responses or behavior.
