  • Antitoxic

    All antidote or treatment that counteracts the effects of poison.  

  • Antiseborrheic

    Agent that helps control the products of sebum, the oily secretion from sweat glands. Counteracting or effectively treating seborrhea.  

  • Antisclerotic

    Agent that helps prevent the hardening of tissue. Helps prevent or treats circulatory sclerosis. A substance that reduces the amount of fat in the blood and helps prevent hardening (sclerosis) of the arteries.  

  • Antidiarrheal

    Agent that is efficacious against diarrhea. A drug that prevents or is used to treat diarrhea. A substance used to prevent or treat diarrhea. This medication is typically prescribed to alleviate the discomforts associated with diarrhea by modifying the movement of the intestinal tract while also absorbing fluids from the large intestine.

    Agent that reheves depression.  

  • Antiarthritic

    Agent that combats arthritis.  

  • Antiallergic

    Agent that reduces allergic reactions.  

  • Aggravation

    The exacerbation of symptoms that can occur when taking homeopathic remedies, particularly in the case of chronic ailments.  

  • Adenoids

    Lymphatic tissue at the back of the nose. A lymphoid mass similar to the tonsils containing lymphocytes and located in the nasopharynx.   • Absolute

    A highly concentrated viscous, semi-solid, or solid perfume, usually obtained by alcohol extraction from the concrete. A highly concentrated aromatic material, usually captured by alcohol from the waxy concrete. The alcohol is then removed by means of vacuum distillation, leaving behind the viscous or semiviscous absolute.
