    An agent that eliminates germs.  

  • Digestives

    Agents that aid in digestion of food in the body. An agent that promotes digestion. Agent that promotes or aids the digestion of food. Aids in all parts of the digestive process. A bitter is a kind of digestive aid.  

  • Cardiac stimulant

    A substance that promotes circulation and increases cardiac efficiency.  

  • Calmative

    A substance with sedation properties that induces relaxation. An agent with mild sedative or calming effects.  

  • Aromatherapeutic

    Inhalation of fragrances (oils or herbs) having a beneficial effect on mood and health.  

  • Antivenomous

    An agent used to counteract venom or poison from a snake or insect bite. Opposing the action of venom.  

  • Antilithic

    A substance used to prevent urinary calculi (mineral stones) or to demolish them if formed. Agent that prevents the formation of a calculus or stone. Preventing the development of stones or calculi.  

  • Antidiarrhea

    An agent used to control and relieve diarrhea.  

  • Wandering pacemaker

    An atrial arrhythmia that occurs when the natural cardiac pacemaker site shifts between the sino-atrial node, the atria and/or the atrioventricular node. A cardiac arrhythmia in which the site of origin of the pacemaker stimulus shifts from one site to another, usually from the atrioventricular node to some other part of the atrium.
