    Possessing thin chaffy scales.

    Relating to branches, belonging to branches [unusual term].  

  • Rambling

    Climbing in a rather lax manner, usually lacking lianescent characters such as tendrils or twining stems. Climbing in other vegetation in a free manner, not having specialised structures with which to climb.
