Reassurance from others that one’s feelings, ideas, or decisions are reasonable.

The practice by which both partners in a caring, committed relationship, such as marriage, agree to have sexual intercourse only with each other.

The practice of not having sexual intercourse until a person is ready to commit to a long term, caring relationship, such as marriage.
