    A device affixed to the maxillary and mandibular arches to support components that record mandibular movement.

    The occurrence of multiple dental implant failures in one or a minute group of patients derived from a large pool of subjects.

    A model of data storage in which the digital data is stored in logical pools, and the physical storage spans multiple servers (and often locations).     The practice of using a network of remote servers hosted online to store, manage, and process data, rather than a local server or a personal computer.

    Surgical component inserted into the head of the implant or the occlusal surface of an implant. It is intended to obturate the access opening of the implant so as to prevent debris from flowing into or plugging the access.  

  • Closure force

    Force generated by muscles of mastication.
