A device for estimating the viscosity of a fluid, especially of blood. A device used to measure the thickness or consistency of fluids.

The property of being viscous and elastic.

A reaction taking place in the viscera as a result of stimulation of visceral receptors. Such reactions are usually below the level of consciousness.

A temperament characterized by predominance of social over intellectual and physical traits. A person with such traits is sociable and convivial, exhibits unusual appreciation of food, and loves company, affection, social support, and approval.

To sensations aroused by stimulation of visceroreceptors.

Visceroreceptors
A group of receptors that includes those located in visceral organs. Their stimulation gives rise to poorly localized and ill-defined sensations or to pain. In hollow visceral organs, they are stimulated principally by excessive contraction or by distention.
