Parity

Condition of having borne viable offspring.


Pertains to the number of deliveries a woman has had at or beyond the 24th week of gestation.


In epidemiology, the classification of women by their number of  live-born children (e.g., a woman of parity 4 has had four live-born children). In medical usage, the classification of women by the total number of births they have had, including both live births and stillbirths; or the total number of times a woman has been pregnant minus the number of abortions and or miscarriages occurring up to 28 weeks of gestation.


Equality of status or position, especially in terms of pay or rank.


The number of children that a woman has given birth to.


In obstetrics, designation based on the number of live-born children a woman has delivered; for example, a woman who is classified as para 3 has delivered three live children.


The condition of a woman with regard to the number of pregnancies she has had that have each resulted in the birth of an infant capable of survival.


A phrase utilized to signify the count of pregnancies a woman has experienced, leading to the delivery of a viable and survivable baby.
