Picornavirus

A virus containing RNA, e.g. enteroa viruses and rhinoa viruses.


Any of a group of small ribonucleic acid (RNA) viruses, including the coxsackie virus and rhinoviruses.


One of a group of small RNA containing viruses (pico = small; hence pico-RNA-virus). The group includes Coxsackie viruses, echoviruses, polioviruses, and rhinoviruses.


These infectious agents derive their name from pico (small) and from RNA (because they contain ribonuleic acid). They are a group of viruses which includes the enteroviruses and the rhinoviruses.


Any of a group of very small ether resistant viruses that includes enteroviruses and rhinoviruses.
