A mucoid tumor of the peritoneum, often seen in association with myxomas of the ovary. In pseudomyxoma peritonei material from a myxoma, usually in the ovary, is spilled into the peritoneal cavity and continues to be produced within the abdomen, often to massive proportions.
A peritoneal tumor resembling a myxoma and containing a thick viscid fluid.
A skin tumor containing a significant amount of mucus, but with tissue mixed in such a way that it appears similar to a myxoma tumor on the surface.
