Urease

An enzyme which converts urea into ammonia and carbon dioxide.


An enzyme which hydrolyses urea to ammonia, carbon dioxide and water. It is present in soya-bean, soya proteins, and several DALS and grams, and is destroyed by moist heat treatment.
