Vestibular glands

The glands at the point where the vagina and vulva join, which secrete a lubricating substance.

Either of two pairs of glands at the vagina-vulva junction, the secretions of which lubricate the vagina during coitus. The posterior pair is also called Bartholin’s glands.

The two pairs of glands that open at the junction of the vagina and vulva. The more posterior of the two are the greater vestibular glands (Bartholin’s glands); the other pair are the lesser] vestibular glands. Their function is to lubricate the entrance to the vagina during coitus.

Glands of the vaginal vestibule. They include the minor vestibular glands and the major vestibular glands (Bartholin’s glands).
