Voltage regulator

An apparatus that ensures the voltage of a generator or any other voltage source remains within specified limits, even when the input voltage fluctuates, is commonly referred to as a voltage regulator. It is also known as an automatic voltage regulator or a line voltage compensator. This device actively regulates and stabilizes the output voltage, compensating for variations in the input voltage to maintain a consistent and reliable power supply.
