Wet milling

Process of milling with diamond or carbide cutters, protected by a spray of cool liquid against overheating of the milled material. This kind of processing is necessary for all metals and glass ceramic material in order to avoid damage through heat development. “Wet” processing is recommended if zirconium oxide ceramic with a higher degree of presintering is employed for the milling process.
