Examples include chlorpromazine and haloperidol. These medications have the potential to cause adverse side effects such as parkinsonian symptoms (muscle stiffness, rigidity, slowed gait, and tremor) and tardive dyskinesia (involuntary lip smacking, tongue movements, and upperextremity movements).
