It may be felt by abdominal examination, or it may be seen by radiology as it displaces other organs. Treatment is by surgical drainage, usually by the technique of joining the pseudocyst to the stomach or jejunum (marsupialization).A space within an organ without a defined lining and which contains fluid. Patients with chronic pancreatitis sometimes develop these pseudocysts which fill with pancreatic juice containing enzymes produced by the gland. Abdominal pain usually results; treatment is by surgical draining.A collection of fluid that becomes surrounded by a capsule, especially a fluid collection that forms in the pancreas during some cases of pancreatitis."}
