Exposure to excessive or prolonged oxygen is the major risk for ROP, but presence of other medical complications also increases risk. Unfortunately, threshold safe levels or durations of oxygen are not known.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>An eye disease in extremely premature infants.
