Because they easily slip out of normal \u201cconsensus\u201d reality, it is not surprising that scientists have difficulty verifying their existence and collecting specimens for laboratory investigation.<\/p>\n
Keel was born March 25, 1930, in upstate New York and grew up in the small town of Perry. He began a career in writing as a teenager, having developed an early interest in the writings of Charles Hoy Fort. He produced five books on UFOs and a series of articles in various UFO and men’s adventure magazines. Keel castigated the more conservative ufologists who were probing for evidence of extraterrestrial life and argued instead for the existence of more mysterious masses of paranormal energy from an unimaginable other reality that have been appearing in our world to assault and manipulate humans since time began. The UFOs and other well-known anomalous phenomena are thus viewed as negative and hostile toward humanity. Keel thought that UFO reports especially mirror older supernatural stories of angels and Demons.<\/p>\n
