X-ray fixer solution

The primary objective of the solution is to eliminate the unexposed and undeveloped silver halides, while also safeguarding and fortifying the image captured on the film. The fixing agent employed can be either sodium thiosulfate in powdered form or ammonium thiosulfate in liquid form. Sodium sulfite is utilized as a preservative, while chrome alum or potassium alum acts as the hardener. To neutralize the solution, sulfuric acid or acetic acid is utilized.
