Calendula facts

The flowers of Calendula plant is used for making medicines. It helps to prevent fevers and muscle spasms. It treats menstrual cramps, sore throat, stomach ulcers and cancer. The application of Calendula lowers the pain and inflammation and cures the wounds. It also treats varicose veins, nose bleeds, rectum inflammation and hermorrhoids. This plant possesses anti-inflammatory and healing properties. The tincture made from this plant is used externally and orally that helps to cure the skin ailments such as stings, scrapes and rashes.
