Otalgia

Earache, pain in the ear.

Pain in the ear. Apart from local causes it may be due to a lesion of the geniculate ganglion of the facial nerve (geniculate otalgia) or to herpes zoster affecting the facial nerve (Ramsay Hunt syndrome).
