Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome

A febrile illness in children marked by fever, rashes, lymphadenopathy, and cardiac complications; also known as Kawasaki disease.


Mucocutaneous lymph node syndrome, also known as Kawasaki syndrome, derives its name from the prominent symptoms affecting the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, the skin, and the lymph nodes.
