Ring-shaped structures on the androgynophore of Passifloraceae [specialist term].


Any part of the body shaped like a pulley, especially part of the lower end of the humerus, which articulates with the ulna, or a curved bone in the frontal bone through which one of the eye muscles passes.


An anatomical part having the structure or function of a pulley; for example the groove at the lower end of the humerus or the fibrocartilaginous ring in the frontal bone (where it forms part of the orbit), through which the tendon of the superior oblique eye muscle passes.
