Eposteal dental implant

A dental implant that obtains its principal support through sitting on top of the edentulous areas of the alveolar bone. Supplementary retaining screws that enter directly into the bone for the purposes of securing this implant framework to the alveolar bone are referred to as an endosteal dental implant component. If the eposteal framework should become submerged and covered by the alveolar bone, then it may be described as having become an endosteal dental implant; an eposteal dental implant’s support system is also known as the implant frame, implant framework, or implant substructure.
