Endoplasm

The innermost portion of the cytoplasm of the microzoan cell, consisting of the fluid plasmasol with granules, vacuoles, and the nucleus: ectoplasm.


The portion of the cell between the cell membrane and nucleus that contains the cellular organelles.


The inner cytoplasm of cells, which is less dense than the ectoplasm and contains most of the cell’s structures.


The central, more fluid portion of the cytoplasm of a cell. Opposed to ectoplasm.
