Roth spot

A pale spot which sometimes occurs on the retina of a person who has leukaemia or some other diseases [After Moritz Roth (1839-1915), Swiss pathologist and physician].


Pale area surrounded by hemorrhage sometimes seen in the retina, with the aid of an ophthalmoscope, in those who have bacterial endocarditis, septicemia, or leukemia.
