  • Girdle

    A set of bones making a ring or arch. A ringlike arrangement or part (e.g., pelvic girdle). An encircling or arching arrangement of bones. A distinctive nomenclature for a cooking apparatus that is often referred to as a griddle or frying pan. Consequently, girdle cakes are tantamount to griddle cakes.  

  • Ginglymus
