  • Megavitamin

    Dosages of vitamins in amounts that far exceed the recommended daily allowances, megavitamin therapy. Term used to describe massive quantities of a specific nutrient when given for therapeutic purposes. A dose of one or more vitamins that is much in excess of the normal daily requirements (up to 10 times the recommended daily intake).
