  • Thromboangiitis

    A condition in which the blood vessels swell and develop blood clots along their walls. Inflammation of the intimal layer of a blood vessel, with clot formation. Thrombosis accompanied by inflammation of the lining of a blood vessel.

    Pain which continues in repeated short attacks. Pain found in dental caries, headache, and localized inflammation. The pain is often thought to be caused by arterial pulsations.

  • Thready

    Referring to a pulse which is very weak and can hardly be felt.  

  • Threadworm

    A thin parasitic worm, Enterobius vernicularis, which infests the large intestine and causes itching round the anus. Small worms that measure about an inch in length and reside in the intestines. They are also known as oxyuris vermicularis.

    An examination of the inside of the chest, using a thoracoscope. A diagnostic examination and/or therapeutic procedure within the pleural cavity with an endoscope.
