Epidermoid cyst

A cyst filled with keratin, sebum, and skin debris that may form on the scalp, the back of the neck, or the axilla. It is benign but can be removed surgically.

An innocuous nodule located beneath the skin’s surface, containing yellow, cheesy material. The terms “epidermoid cyst” and “sebaceous cyst” are frequently used interchangeably to refer to this condition.
