Eruption

A visible rash or cutaneous disruption.


Something which breaks through the skin, e.g. a rash or pimple.


The appearance of a new tooth in a gum.

Lesions on the skin that are usually red, raised, and easily visible.


Any lesion that appears at the surface of the skin and is characterized by its prominence and redness. A bullous eruption is an eruption of blisters.


Eruption or rash, means an outbreak, in a scattered form, upon the surface of the skin. The skin is usually raised and red, or may be covered with scales, or crusts, or vesicles containing fluid. Eruptions differ in appearance: for example, the eruption of measles is always distinguishable from that of chickenpox. But the same disease may also produce different eruptions in different people; or in the same person in different states of health; or even on different parts of the body at one time.


A visible breaking out, especially of a skin lesion or rash accompanying a disease such as measles or scarlet fever.


The progression of a tooth emerging through the gingival tissue to establish its position within the oral cavity.


A sudden emergence; a tooth breaking through the gum tissue.
