Extravert (Extrovert)

In type theory a person whose personality is oriented outward, requiring continual stimulation from the social environment, introvert.


A person whose interests turn outward.


A person who is interested in people and things in the external world.


A personality type that is primarily concerned with and focused on external objects and actions and other people. Extroverts are generally at ease in social settings, unlikely to engage in solitary pursuits, and often avoid being alone. The opposite of extrovert is introvert.


A person who is outgoing, enjoys mixing with others and looks for fresh activities to take part in. Tends to act emotionally rather than intellectually.


An extrovert is someone whose primary focus lies in other individuals and the external world. They are characterized by their active, sociable nature and possess a wide range of interests.
