Kaolin

An absorbent clay taken internally to treat diarrhea. Available at most health food stores.


A fine soft clay used in the making of medical preparations, especially for the treatment of diarrhoea.


Aluminum- and silicon-containing product used internally, often with pectin, in the trade-name product Kaopectate, as an adsorbent to treat diarrhea and externally as a dusting powder, or, in an ointment base, as a poultice.


A white clay that contains aluminum and silicon and is purified and powdered for u.se as an adsorbent. It is taken by mouth to treat the diarrhea and vomiting due to food poisoning and other digestive disorders. Kaolin is also used in dusting powders and poultices.


Kaolin, or china clay, is a smooth white powder consisting of natural white aluminium silicate. It is used as a dusting powder for eczema and other forms of irritation in the skin. It is also used internally in cases of diarrhoea.


A yellow-white or gray clay powder occurring in a natural state as a form of hydrated aluminum silicate. It is used internally as an absorbent, e.g., in treating diarrhea, externally as a protective by absorbing moisture.


Kaolin, an aluminum compound, is employed as a component in certain antidiarrheal medications. Functioning as an adsorbent, it is ingested orally to address diarrhea and vomiting resulting from conditions like food poisoning and various digestive ailments.


Aluminium silicate, commonly known as china clay, is used in its refined form to coat pills and is included in ointments, lotions, and poultices. When ingested, it aids in treating intestinal disorders like enteritis, dysentery, and diarrhea as it binds with and captures harmful germs and toxins.
