Kaplan–Meier analysis

A statistical method used to estimate a population (e.g., dental implants) survival curve from a sample. Survival over time can be estimated, even when patients drop out or are studied for different lengths of time. Statistical method used in survival (time‐to‐event) analysis to estimate the probability of an event, such as implant loss, at different times in the study.
