Ketoprofen

An anti-inflammatory drug used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.


Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other inflammatory conditions. Adverse effects include gastrointestinal bleeding and nausea.


An analgesic that reduces inflammation, administered by mouth to treat various arthritic and rheumatic diseases. Side-effects are rare, but indigestion sometimes occurs.


A form of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID) that is prescribed as an analgesic (pain-relieving) treatment for soft tissue injuries like muscles and ligaments. Ketoprofen is also effective in alleviating joint discomfort and rigidity associated with arthritic conditions. Potential side effects include abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, and an elevated susceptibility to peptic ulcers.
