Khat

A shrub native to Ethiopia and Arabia. Khat also known as Arabian Tea, Kat, Chat, Catta, and Qat.


A shrub of Africa and Arabia. People chew the leaves and twigs of the shrub, or brew it like tea causes a stimulating, euphoric effect.


Tender leaves of a shrub that grows in the Middle East called Catha edelis. The leaves are wrapped around betel nuts and chewed, the result being a feeling of euphoria and an ability to tolerate harsh living conditions.
