Kidney tumours

Tumors in the kidney can be either cancerous or noncancerous. The noncancerous types, such as fibromas, lipomas, and leiomyomas, often show no symptoms. However, a haemangioma, which consists of a cluster of blood vessels, might become significantly large and result in blood being present in the urine.

To determine if a tumor is not cancerous, a biopsy might be required. Noncancerous tumors typically don’t need treatment unless they are sizable or cause discomfort.
