Marshall-marchetti-krantz procedure

A surgical procedure used to treat urinary stress incontinence in women. The incontinence is caused by a weakness in the support of the bladder neck and proximal urethra. Sutures are placed periurethrally in the vaginal wall and anchored to the perichondrium of the pubic symphysis, offering a better cystourethral angle and firm support.
