Moon face

A condition in which someone has a round red face, occurring in Cushing’s syndrome and when there are too many steroid hormones in the body.

Rounded, puffy face occurring in people treated with large doses of corticosteroids.

A full, round face seen in Cushing’s syndrome or more often as a side effect of corticosteroid therapy.

Facial rounding occurs due to excessively high levels of natural corticosteroid hormones in the body, as seen in Cushing’s syndrome, or from extended use of corticosteroid medications.
