Necrotic

(Of tissue) dead, often associated with dark coloration.


Referring to, or affected with, necrosis.


Holonecrotic and plesionecrotic are terms utilized to describe the state of dead and near-dead tissues within leaf spots that lack cork barriers. Holonecrotic pertains to the central area of completely dead tissues while plesionecrotic refers to the surrounding zone of damaged tissues that are not yet dead.


The aberrant demise of cells, which may arise due to diseases or infections.
