Obturator foramen

An opening in the hip bone near the acetabulum.


A large opening in the ischium that is covered by a fibrous membrane and is a point of attachment for some muscles of the hip.


A large opening in the hip bone, below and slightly in front of the acetabulum.


A large oval foramen below the acetabulum bounded by the pubis and ischium.
