Protocol that involves one surgical procedure for implant placement. In the single stage, the osteotomy site is prepared, the implant is placed, and the transmucosal element exits the soft tissue. Use of a single‐stage implant eliminates the need for a second surgical procedure to expose the coronal portion of the implant.
