Condition in which the nails are thin and concave (spoon-shaped), sometimes associated with iron-deficiency anemia.

Illness or abnormality caused by movement (e.g., airsickness, carsickness).

Ketamine hydrochloride
Non-barbiturate general anesthetic that does not cause complete muscle re¬ laxation and is used mainly for brief, minor surgical procedures and for pediatric and geriatric patients. On emergence from anesthesia, hallucinations, delirium, and other psychological signs may occur; increased blood pressure and intracranial pressure are also sometimes found.

Examination of the cornea to detect abnormal curvature; a special instrument, called a keratoscope, is used to study light reflected from the front surface of the cornea.

Tear or break in the cornea.

Keratonosis
General term for any abnormal condition of the outer skin. Any noninflammatory disease or deformity of the horny layer of the skin. A degenerative process with small blister-like lesions in a swollen corneal epithelial layer; vision is significantly decreased.

Fungus infection of the cornea.

Keratoiritis
Inflammation of the cornea and the iris.

Keratoderma
Any surface growth or covering that appears horny. A localized or disseminated disease of the horny layer of the skin.

Keratoacanthoraa
Keratin-containing skin nodule, most often occurring on the face, hands, or arms; it usually disappears spontaneously, often leaving a scar.
